I have been the instructor of record for UGA’s Principles of Macroeconomics course in the Summer and Fall terms of ‘22. You can find the syllabi I used on this page. I have also served as a TA for several graduate courses, where my responsibilities included grading assignments, holding office hours to address assignments, tests, and student queries, conducting recitation classes, and teaching programming.

Macroeconomics is the study of how choices made by people, firms, and governments affect the aggregate national and global economies. Macroeconomics topics include national income, unemployment, money, inflation, economic growth, business cycles, and monetary and fiscal policy. This course enables students to understand and analyze many important contemporary macroeconomic policy debates.

My philosophy when it comes to teaching is rooted the belief that education is a transformative and empowering experience. I consider it a duty of mine to foster critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for the subject when I take on the role of an educator. Based on my own experience as a student I try to be sympathetic the myriad of challenges students face within and outside the classroom. Furthermore, I aim to create an inclusive and collaborative environment where students learn from the material and each other.
